Eligible properties include: Homestays, Resorts, Eco Resorts, Farm Stays, Village Tourism Properties, Cottages, Heritage Stays, Tent Accommodations, Nature Camps, Beach Stays, and Jungle Retreats.

3. Host Responsibilities

Safety — ensuring safe premises, proper electrical systems, clean drinking water, emergency contact information, and first-aid availability where possible.

4. Booking Management

Hosts must:

• Respond promptly to booking inquiries.
• Honor confirmed bookings.
• Inform guests about any special conditions before arrival.
• Notify The Dolphin Camp immediately if a property becomes unavailable — and use the Full House control in your host dashboard to pause new bookings.
• Mark every arrival as Checked-in and every non-arrival as No-Show in your dashboard.
• Remember: the guest has already paid the booking fee online — collect only the stay amount at check-in.

Repeated cancellations may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

5. Pricing Policy

Hosts have the freedom to set their own pricing. However:

• Prices displayed on the platform should match actual charges.
• Hidden charges are strictly prohibited.
• Additional fees must be clearly disclosed before booking confirmation.

6. Commission & Service Charges

The Dolphin Camp may charge a commission, service fee, subscription fee, or listing fee as per the applicable Host Agreement. Any applicable charges will be communicated to hosts in writing and may be revised from time to time with prior notice.

7. Guest Conduct

Hosts should:

• Treat all guests respectfully.
• Avoid discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, nationality, disability, or background.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

The Dolphin Camp is a marketplace platform connecting guests with independent homestays, resorts, cottages, farm stays, eco-resorts, and other accommodation providers across India. By making a booking through The Dolphin Camp, guests agree to the following cancellation and refund terms.

1. Cancellation by Guest

Guests may cancel their booking by contacting the property owner or The Dolphin Camp support team. Refunds shall be processed according to the following schedule:

More than 16 days before check-in — ✅ 100% Refund

• Guests will receive a full refund of the booking amount paid, excluding payment gateway charges, convenience fees, and applicable taxes, if any.

8 to 15 days before check-in — ✅ 50% Refund

• Guests will receive 50% of the booking amount paid.

0 to 7 days before check-in — ❌ No Refund

• No refund shall be applicable for cancellations made within 7 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.

2. No-Show Policy

If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation, the booking will be treated as a No-Show, and no refund will be provided.

3. Early Check-Out

No refund shall be issued for:

• Early departure
• Unused room nights
• Unused meals
• Unused services included in the booking package

4. Host Cancellation

In the event a host cancels a confirmed booking:

• The guest will receive a full refund of the amount paid through The Dolphin Camp.
• The Dolphin Camp may assist the guest in finding alternative accommodation, subject to availability.

Refunds may not be applicable for cancellations caused by events beyond the reasonable control of the host or The Dolphin Camp, including but not limited to:

• Government restrictions
• Epidemics or pandemics
• Transportation shutdowns
• Civil disturbances

Any refund under such circumstances shall be subject to the individual property's policy and applicable law.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be processed within:

• 7–15 business days for UPI and bank transfers
• 7–21 business days for credit/debit card payments

Processing times may vary depending on banks and payment service providers.
